My name is Shaad Singleton. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana currently residing in Houston, Texas. My parents are Larry Singleton Jr. and Trina Saverin both from New Orleans, Louisiana. My ethnicity is African-American and Native American. I am 17 years old and my birthday is October 28, 1996. I have many hobbies and interests such as; swimming, tumbling, cooking, etc. I would also say I am musically inclined. I play three instruments (Saxophone, violin, and the piano), and I also sing and dabble in songwriting. My passions in this world are music and helping others. Nothing else worldly can bring me a greater feeling of elation than when the beautiful sound of a harmony sung or played rings in my ear, or the feeling of satisfaction I receive when someone who is in need says thank you. I love music, I love everything about it. The goosebumps that climb up my arm when a perfect vibrato eases in after a long held note is exhilarating to my soul. I've always wanted to help people ever since I've seen my mom who's an RN (Registered Nurse) go home to home helping those who could not help themselves. The way they would thank her as if she were an angel moved me in ways I can't even explain. I've always wanted to help the mentally Ill. I feel like people overlook them to some degree and I would like to combine both of my passions to find ways to help those people. As a person I feel as if I am an humble soul. I'm not the insane, party animal type, nor am I the quiet guy that likes to read in the park. I love going out to parties and having fun, but at the same time there's nothing wrong with a good book every once in a while. I feel as if I have a nice balance of both personalities and that I know how to maintain who I am in this insane world. I hope to further find myself and my purpose as I live my life, and that I have an amazing time doing so.
